What you'll need are Torx bits (for where the actual headunit is held in place), they're like star-shaped bits with a little nipple/point thing in the middle of the bit. They're a couple of bucks each from most hardware/automotive stores or you can buy a whole kit for say $20-30.

Enjoy your new car, it's definitely a step up from the old Magna!

bit of a update.
ive put the stereo in about a month ago. head unit, subs and amp, i was goingto put the 6x9's in but was to rooted and it was pissing me off so i gave up. so the stocks are still in
i put a massive K&N filter on a about a month or so ago.
i did a 2.5" cat back system last week which sounds good. im planning on doing the extractors and cat later when i have more money as i have a low income.
im also getting the darkest LEAGAL tint tomorrrow. i was going to go darker but as im always im the road im bound to get caught and fined. so yeah
ill probably get pics tomorrow after the tint is on.
for the future im planning to lower it and get wheels but money is a factor.

nice car good starting point
being a low income e series ford driver my self i know what its like you want to do your car up have all these ideas but no money so heres some things you can do that wont cost an arm or leg and look good

rims:you cant afford the gtp rims you love but that doesnt mea you cant have a nice set of rims. You can pick up rims pretty cheap these days a nice pair of 15s - 17s will change the look of your car and can be had for a few hundred wile they my not be the 20s you love you will like the fact tires are cheaper
ride height:ok first off dont chop springs it doesnt end well so you cant afford 600 for the new springs doesnt mean you have to hack your old ones a set of lowering springs can be yours for under 300.A friend of mine hacked his springs his car looked good lowered untill the cops gave him a nice yellow sticker cost him 200 to replace springs,a windscreen,2 new tires to get it to pass the pink slip he should of just got the lower springs would of been cheaper
clear blinkers:for under 50 bux you can get clear blinkers cheap easy quick mod
tail lights: tint, clear,el tail lights theres a few things to pick form not many people like the clears and coppers love tinted tail lights so id go el under 30 bux from a wreckers they fit strate in and look tops
stickers: you can either love them or hate them but they are piss easy to put on and make your car stand out.I HATE THE FLOWERS THO but a nice ford badge with flames around it 30cm stick it on ya back window at the bottom they look nice, aussie pride, theres heaps of things you can do.A mate of mine has no its not my boy friends car on her ss and my mum has a ford logo with flames around it looks nice
body kit: you dont need to spend heaps a cheap xr lip kit will toughen up your car and they are found at wreckers every where
side strip: most people color code them its easy and cheap a good diy i like the chrome tape thay have on them its a nice touch
up spec:what i mean is a fairmont grill rear garnish the chrome looks really nice
debadge: it cleans them up etc all you need its a heat gun or hair dryer and some fishing line and ya done if theres some glue left a bit of goo remover and its done
seat covers: HUGE range style to pick from look good and protect your seats in 1 yeah cheap as
gear knob:manual or auto huge range to pick from also cheap lol
car pedals: manual or auto huge range hell ive seen some with leds "if your into the ricer thing" cheap as
clean and look after your car: ok so its not a mod but turst me clean cars turn heads and it looks after your paint and when its time to sell because you looked after your pride and joy you may get more for it

hope this gives you some ideas and i look forward to seeing this car change

well you have now learned your first lesson. Ask on the forums if you don't know. You could have gotten some awesome 18s or possibly even 19s for $1650 that would have looked a billion times better! Bob Jane only stock 6 types but there are dozens out there if you look around. Ah well we all have to learn somewhere.

keep an eye out for springs on the forums, can usually pick up a full set for around $100.
