CALDER OFF STREET DRAGS DECEMBER 6

Postby NL_CONCORDE » November 30th, 2008, 12:26 pm

Just want to know if anyone is going up to calder on the 6th to watch the drags. As i'll be there with the AU entering and just want to know how many others are thinking of going up. As i'll need some pics n vids i'll probably be happy with a 16 pass.
Be great to know how many other boosted falcon guys
will also be there

We should be heading up with a little orange MK1 escort. Hopefully it doesnt smash another gearbox like last time... Will keep an eye out for you! Might take the LTD for a run? I would be happy with a 20sec pass!

How much does it cost to race there these days? If its still like $80, then I'll be sticking to my PS3!

Took a mates car up, bit pushed for time so only got 2 runs in :(
Debut on the drag strip and ran a 11.7 @ 122MPH. Not too bad for a start. Then had a crap second run.
He was happy with the result for a little car set up for circut. Needs some more tread tho. 13's dont cut it!

Also spotted a few other suspect characters and their cars..

Its got an FJ20 under the hood (old version of the SR20) running some boost.
Its only got standard cams and no grip so plenty more potential!

yeah damn single peggers but dont worry im hunting down a AUII Non irs lsd centre n 3.45's currently 3.23's as i have one out of a vs commodore and unsure if it will go i know its borg warner this one has a 28 spline and thinkin of puttin this one in the nl which does have an lsd but is in need of rebuild damn diff centre's but dont stress lsd=3'45s should see AU into the 15s im hoping was getting too much wheel spin off the line but glad you liked the single peggers a few times i felt it step out a little but all fun and i did see the escort out there i think a guy from work is fimilar with that one but i could be wrong

My reaction times wernt the best something i have to work on but i did beat a au xr8 ute with a so far pb 16.3 with 1/2 tank of fuel and 3/4's full of gas and the lane is runnin a auto tickford 6 with a 3.45 lsd and im going to do it again warming up tyres will mean fry the tyres
