Possible I didnt get time to inspect the comp plates, I just herd him pull up and go, man thats not an XR8 sounded to mean. Motor is Herrod enhanced. Trying to get him to bring it to AFD.

But AU to BA conversion is a big job yea?

All the AU > BA conversion is guards, bonnet and bar. Nearly everything else is the same.

I just rang him told him to stop pulling my leg, he said they had to re drill holes for the bonnet hinges, and a few here and there for the guards and lights.

Yeah man, there's a member on AFF (Dok or Doc, can't remember username) who did this to their AU wagon

looking at those who have done the swap in the past its not that straight forward.
the inner guards have to be swapped along with the rad support.

No. They are AU XR rims, and the front bar is BF, not BA.

100% au. look where abs pump is, and overflow bottle, scuttle is au, wipers are au, side moulds arent au they are ba/bf tho, its a bf front bar not ba, and im pretty sure among what else has been said, rad support is a ba one not au.

heaps easier to sell a BA than an AU.

Say the thing had front end damage - would you put an asshat AU front back on or for the same cost slap a BA face on it?

i'm not saying that it was damaged or that's what the seller would do....
