Postby ELOVER » December 21st, 2008, 1:09 pm

so im anthony and this is my 96 EL gli, i picked it up about 5weeks ago for $2950 with rego, rwc, 193,000kms on the clock, shitty aftermarket cd player, 2.5inch exhaust. All i have done to it is tinted windows, i have 2 12'' subs and 2 amps to go in soon along with ultra low kingsprings that are just sitting in my room. My future short term plans for it would be extractors new speakers and head unit and BA XR8 magnet rims.

The Magnet rims would still have to be better than the EF Fairmont hupcap imitators on there now wouldn't they?
Remember to get new shocks for when you lower it, otherwise you'll be pulling the springs out again so you can change the shocks.

Looks like a good buy. Have fun trying to keep the Heritage Green paint clean

Oh yeah, and I never get sick of seeing 'em. But just means it'll have less uniqueness, if that's at all important. I was just starting to see them everywhere when I got 'em.

ABS = spongy brakes, but you'll slow to about 60

non-ABS = lock up at 100 & skid past the roo doing about 95. But you'll look sick doing it
