I did about 2-3 years ago, a BA XT 5-speed (my dad had one as a company car). It didn't bog down under WOT, and revved cleanly to the limiter quite easily. I found the elec throttle to be SHITHOUSE because it would lag, so lifting the throttle to change gear just before the limiter would often result in the car tapping the limiter unexpectedly.... it was prone to small over-revs occasionally when shifting in a hurry due to the throttles inability to keep up with my foot and me pushing the clutch in "too early". Shat me to tears, but you get used to it apparently.

driven an xr6 a few months ago. depends on how well you dictate your launch (clutch and throttle control) but i found they hook up fairly well

yeh light switch throttle is one major reason why i ended up gettin auto..
what do you mean bog down while rolling already at speed(60+) or off the line?

Nah what im talking about is..

rolling along at any speed and you floor it.. my car bogs down a bit and the exhaust note changes.

as you take the throttle it feels like it starts to pull a bit harder than tapers off with throttle.

that isnt normal!

have you had it tuned or is it running standard tune at the moment?

if it isnt tuned try resetting the kam again (disconect battery for 30mins) and see how that goes... failing that and you have the obd2 port connected up take it to ford and check it for codes (and expect some shocked looks when u ask to put the ids on your eb!!)
