How much difference between a EF sedan & wagon exhaust??

Postby sticman » January 2nd, 2009, 3:59 pm

Just wanting to know if there will be much of a gap in the main body of the exhaust.
I'm planning on dumping it before the diff anyway so as long as its roughly the same, as in shape and mounting points, then I'll get one.
I can get a mate to weld it up and add pipe to it but I don't want to have to if its nowhere near the same.

Thanks

Yep, thats what I thought.
I think I read somewhere that the wagon is only 150-200mm longer in the wheelbase than the sedan. Could be wrong tho...

wagon and sedan centre section is the same.... the wagon tailpipe has a longer peice from out of the muffler to the first bend to allow for the extra wheelbase....

Thanks boys. I got hold of a 2.5" mandrel bent SEDAN exhaust pretty cheap.
I was always planning on dumping it before the diff anyway so I reckon I can use the tailpipe section to make up the short fall in length.

Thanks for your help too
