My TOPGIA

Postby TOPGIA » September 12th, 2007, 2:20 am

Hi everyone, my name is Bud, and this is my TOPGIA, a '96 EFII Fairmont Ghia 5.0 V8. I bought the car in June'07 with electric sunroof, body kit, FTR suspension and 16" wheels, all factory fitted. It also had extractors and 3" exhaust. Here are the pics the day I bought her.

Since than I removed the tow bar and body side stripes, shaved the badges at the back, filled up the holes and repainted the rear panel. Tinted the windows, put K&N filter, changed the exhaust tips, fitted NF Fairlane cornering lights, side moulds and clear repeaters, BF Ghia badges, new headlights( with Phillips Crystal Vision globes) and blinkers. Also reversing sensors( got used to them from my previous car BA Ghia), SVI dual fuel conversion, King Spring superlows with Monroe GT shocks and 19" BF Typhoon replica wheels.

Sorry for the crappy pics, will take proper ones soon.

Next week I'm putting on DBA slotted and drilled rotors, Bendix pads and painting the callipers.

Cheers,
Bud

Thanx stevo, yes the BA was nice, but I love my EF! :D She's far from perfect, I don't wanna go overboard, as she's a daily. After the brakes, I might take the wing of and fit BA bulge . Also I had a talk with my panel beater, wanna try to do something with the grille. Was thinking on converting the car to straight LPG, remove the petrol tank, so I can run dual exhaust with quad tips. That would be all as far as exterior. Love the colour, thats why I went all the way to Gold Coast to get her! Say hi to Leah for me and I'll see you guys on sat...

Cheers,
Bud
