Might aswell say hello formally

Postby Aus.Waz » February 28th, 2009, 12:59 pm

Thought i might aswell say hello as ive been coming on these forums everyday lately

Havent written one of these up because I usually dont like making posts unless i feel they're worthwhile or if I actually have stuff to say

so a little bit about me...

names Warren, im 19, from keilor i own a 92 Gli and I also own a 95 VS stato 5l which was purchased as a repairable write off and ive just lost all motivation of putting it on the road, got the repairs done for it and when it came back from the panel shop it no longer started due to a broken ignition module so its just sitting in the front yard in high fill waiting for paint lol

up until a few months ago I was a strong Holden bloke and before that i was into jap cars but I work at Pickles auctions and after driving almost every type of car imaginable day in day out ive come to the conclusion fords are better cars apart from devaluing themselves fastest they are pretty damn enjoyable to drive haha

After my granddad passed away my nan went to sell his EB Gli, I bought it off her for $1500... you'd think your own nan would give you a discounted price wouldnt you. Full Service book plus extra receipts, Pedders superheavy duties in the back for towing purposes real grandads car that had been really well looked after just car is very tired and things have begun breaking left right and centre but you'd expect that when a 251000k car goes from a 80 year old to a 19 year old

So now the head gaskets gone and last thursday night my VS stato fried my poor EBs alternator when we were trying to jump start it, but i dont care ive been planning on throwing either an EL or AU motor in it because ive pretty much vowed never to sell the EB for obvius sentimental reasons

Since buying the car ive put superlows in the back, got superlows for front just cbf putting them in, thrown the great GLi hubbys in the bin, grabbed some clear indicators, chucked the headrests in the boot put in some better speakers front and back and a cheap cd player, nothing special, im sitting at work at the moment so i cant upload pics because of server restrictions and stuff but ill get some up sometime soon or get someone to post some for me

anyway if your still reading all this good job  chances are you've already seen me around as I have jumped in other peoples cars for the Ausday cruise and I was floating around with some people at All Ford Day, hopefully actually get to talk to a few of the members soon enough.
