Because of all the other campers that will be there such as families with young kids, the elderly/retirees, etc etc. Those who would take a dim view to a bunch of 20somethings getting pissed, blowing shit up, and driving in areas that in wetter years contained fish.

I'd probably avoid the explosions, there is a ranger on site all the time now and they're not nearly as tolerant as they used to be, especially with the dirt drifting, as harmless as it is...
