Took a few shots tonight of the ol' girl. Picked her up on Saturday night.

2004 BA MKII, 56,000km's, 6 speed manual, premium sound, black boss leather, koni's, vibe purple. Only plans are a Flash Tune, plugs and cold air intake. Oh, and help to fix the stupid dosing problem (Sunny, John?)

You mean the dose isn't fully sick enough? Or you want it to stop?

Some Vibe cars have decent rust problems so hv a good look around in ur boot..

Image

Also, with that flash tune etc. etc. you'll prob be looking at a new clutch pretty quickly =[[ The standard ones aren't too good for anything more than standard power I'm told :cray: Having said that though, some cnt on XR6T forums has one running 310 at the bags. Reckons he's nancy on the launches and shifts so it works OK.

Nice pickup mate! You didn't buy that off that Greg bloke who used to do the wheelmagz deal a little while ago did you? If you did, I actually went for a drive in this car a few months ago when I was looking at getting a turbo! Its very nice clean car, the premium seats are a nice upgrade. From what I remember he replaced valve springs and injectors and did a tune on it. Out of all the ones I tested, this one was going to be the one I would have bought, went awesome!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the comments :)

Sunny, it's got a turbosmart BOV installed, but it's missing a cap thing on the top so it doses?

There's no rust in the boot, everything looks good. It has the 'premium paint protection' option i think (if that even is an option?)

ClassicAU, Yeah i bought it from that Greg guy. He never mentioned injectors or valve springs.. Only mod on it is a turbosmart BOV and the Koni's?

How can i check if they are standard injectors?

Standard injectors will be blue with a small Ford logo on them somewhere.

Sounds like it just has a 10PSI generic tune..

You probably need to twist the bov so it loosens the tension on the spring to help it open sooner.

Pics of bov?

I cant see any of your pics. Use a better host.

WTF is boss leather ??? load of shit, its just sports leather.

Check if the injectors are blue, if they are mostly likely they are stock injectors,

Seams to have a lots of power with stock parts stock injectors would be struggling to put out that power, evan valve springs as its a BA would be a concern or at it limit.
Strive for perfection in everything we do. Take the best that exists and make it better.
When it does not exist, design it. Accept nothing nearly right or good enough.

I think he means 268kw at the fly, not the wheels? Yeah I didn't know what BOSS leather was either..

I don't know, the injectors are blue, and the rest looks stock.. i doubt it's got 268rwkw..

I am getting the flash tune in a week, probably going to use pit lane performance to get the 8psi and 10psi generic tunes checked on the dyno for air fuel ratios, etc, as one of my mates has a 350rwkw xr6t that was tuned and built at pit lane.

Dan, they are at my site: www.yagz.com I don't know why you can't see them? I'll try my other site tonight..

In a couple of months you'll be looking at anywhere between $13k and $23k for a BA MKII, depending on Km's, options, colour, etc.

At the end of the day, it's only worth what someone sees in it.

Good old Yagz again.

Lol. Show me these $13k BA2 XR6Ts? The cheapest XR6T I came across in vic was 7/03 Silhouette with 191k on it with only a sunroof as a option.

Good old Yagz again.

- 268kW (made to sound like it was made atw) with standard injectors and valve springs.. picked to pieces
- $13k in a few months for a BA2 XR6T .. LOL
- Dodgy website

Rips has 284RWKW and his engine bay looks 100% stock.

Think what you will, but i think if you look hard enough in a few months you'll find one for as cheap as some of the BA MKI's are going for.. I've seen 4 speed MKI's go for 13k easy.

It all depends how long you're willing to look, and where. Auctions/Private/Dealer who need to move stock.. Tough times ahead maybe?

Anyway, that's just my opinion. My website has some animal porn on it, that's why it's classified as dodgy i think.. ?

Yagz you a funny KENT!

$13k easy? you've seen them at that? Examples? I think you're full of shit. No one would hv looked harder than me for cars in the last few months. The only actual "$13k easy" turbo I saw was a Blueprint XR6T with low kays and full options that had trans fluid contaminating the cooling system and was overheating. I steered clear. If I found a couple of good ones for $13k I woulda bought one for Gill as well :P The only other one I saw was the aforementioned $13.5k one.

I found a fully optioned $19k BA GT as well at my best - he wanted $24.5k but I got him down. I went and chkd it out and he back pedalled back up to $20k but was still a bargain. Was going to put a deposit on it but he sold it on the day.
