You'll probably get away with fireworks provided its away from the park, they usually have fireworks and stuff at new years so it shouldn't be a problem.

I was referring to exploding aerosol cans on the fire... I'm not speaking for the park management and I'm not taking responsibility for what anyone does, ultimately its up to you guys, I'm just giving the warning that people do it at their own risk. The ranger lives across the road from the park and is not afraid to call the cops if he sees something untoward. He especially seems to hate dirt drifting, he called the cops last time, as some of you will remember!

WELL Seeing that this has sort of all been agreed on that date do you think we should put this in as a official cruise section .

i think it could stay where it is as its not an "Official Cruise"

i remember when the cops rocked up last year and the ranger. the ranger was alot nicer than the cop i thought.
you guys will be shattered if you cant blow things up in the fire :P

Even still the cop wasn't bad. It was obvious he was there because he had to be but couldn't be stuffed doing anything. Country cops ftw. They usually don't give a rats arse if your car is not 100% roadworthy

That's very true Dez, country cops are a lot more down to earth and have more common sense than the city cops do, but regardless they are unpredictable so it just pays to be careful. As I said, what you guys do is your business as long as it doesn't endanger anyone or anything. Common sense must prevail!

I would love to put my name down for this, but I have no idea if i will even have a car at this stage, let alone what it will be! I guess I will just hang back until closer to the date, no doubt people will drop out as it gets closer. Last years one did look like awesome fun though!!

Or no explosions at all?

You'll probably get away with fireworks provided its away from the park, they usually have fireworks and stuff at new years so it shouldn't be a problem.

I was referring to exploding aerosol cans on the fire... I'm not speaking for the park management and I'm not taking responsibility for what anyone does, ultimately its up to you guys, I'm just giving the warning that people do it at their own risk. The ranger lives across the road from the park and is not afraid to call the cops if he sees something untoward. He especially seems to hate dirt drifting, he called the cops last time, as some of you will remember!

Alex

Thanks Alex
