Sneaky bugger...

Postby oneredED » March 27th, 2009, 11:51 am

Driving down the Monash freeway today, spotted a white tradesman spec FG ute in the construction works going on there. He pulled out of the construction zone at a rather fast pace and pulled in front of me. I noticed he had a sports bar on the back, which I thought was a bit odd on a base model so i sped up and had a closer look. It was an unmarked cop car! The little LED flashing lights are hidden high behind the drivers seat headrest. I pulled past to make 100% sure, and sure enough there was a cop in the front seat. He exited off at Narre Warren.

I thought it was interesting that it was tradie spec with grey bumpers etc, and was parked in the construction works not far from where all the other workman were. Very sneaky! If I'd been driving past in my own car like I usually do he would have nabbed me for sure, and I'm usually pretty good with spotting them. This is just a heads up for others who like to know what they're up against :P

I saw a U/C cop bike today. Bastard kents. He was wearing a black leather jacket over his uniform and the bike was black too.

I pulled up near a SV6 VE ute in the city a few weeks ago that had pulled someone over.

I covered an undercover cop bike in oil smoke last year.
full boost + dose, he ignored me and putted on past.

same type of bike as the rest of the cops, no markings, leather jacket, i think it was silver.
only thing that gave a hint was the white/blue checkered patern around the helmet, like 10-20mm wide.

Seen him again in Echuca, both times had cars pulled over.
At one stage pulled the car infront of me over.

we have had one of the tradie FG utes since they were relesed, we are onto our second turbo territory, there is a VE SS sedan and a SS ute aswell.

also in the construction areas you should be looking out for stand alone boxes on the ground which house speed cameras

Yeah my mate said that one does the QLD to VIC patrol route, and to catch hoons they got JMM to do a DEV7 kit for it, Jay Leno is buying it for his garage once the cops are done with it.

Another trick the cops thought of to trick hoons into racing them, everyone knows EB's are faster than EA's. I like the way they think...making a EA look like an EB pure genious.
