Cast aluminium welding

Postby Steady » April 22nd, 2009, 4:05 pm

Without me picking up a phonebook or scoping yellowpages, anyone got a contact/mate off the top of their head whos competent enough to tig a cast al bend to a cast al comp cover?
Cost no issue, cause it'll cost me ~770 to replace the comp cover if they **** it up

PM Schmee, he might be able to.

He TIG'd my intake manifold to fill the injector holes.
We were also going to do the Compressor cover on my Turbo.
but couldn't get a tight enough bend.
