First up congrats.

I’m guessing for most of the members here you don’t have children. Ill put it into perspective. Childbirth isn’t human. The sounds of labor are more at home in a saw movie, yet the mothers seem to own it and recover very quickly. For the father's it’s like a smack in the head with a bat of love and responsibility and not to mention respect for the mother for passing a watermelon.

It’s what comes afterwards that’s the amazing bit. As a father I have only focused on my family Jessica and my daughter Amelia. No one else matters. You find yourself telling the young fellas down the street to stop with the skids and the loud music where as previously would of joined in.

The only advice I can offer is enjoy what you have, take heaps of pics and vids and john don’t be afraid to change nappies LOL trust me some times the smell makes you proud and it reminds you of yourself!!!!

Now get off the net and just stare at your boy.

thanks again to all.

jared (steady) - you make me laugh but ill be bias and say Jackson and John as equal as cute :P

John_LS1 - haha at erin wanting a baby now and also marriage. hurry up and pop the question then.

yes John does change lots of nappies and we do sit there just starring at him.

i know Jackson has made a few people that have seen him want a baby now.
Jackson has been really well since been home. i think he has been doing much better at home than in the hospital

Yeah they are on the case already. Ive heard that first babies are late more often than early. Just in the last week ive heard several examples that argue the case otherwise

Not necessarily! I don't want to give you false hope but Alannah (my girlfriends baby) has slept right through every night since she was born 10 months ago. Apparently some babies are just like that. It's nice being able to sleep :yahoo: Hopefully for the sake of you and Kristy, Jackson is a sleeper ;)

Doesn't the dose come after the skid? I sounds like you're doing it wrong.
