Gday, names James - EA Falcon S, but with a twist

Postby Halifax-Copesy » May 5th, 2009, 9:40 am

Gday everyone, my name is james, i live up in sunny Qld near Dalby. My car is/was a 89 EA Falcon S-Pack, reason i said 'was' is because i love open wheelers and this falcon was nearing the end of its lifespan as a road car so i decided i would use the 3.9 litre CFI donk under the bonnet in a mid engined machine. i have a 'blog' deal happening that i will try to keep up to date its only got 2 post at the moment but hopefully there will be more to come, so bare with me. Any suggestions or criticism, constructive or otherwise would be appreciated and helpful. To the people that are already angry with me for ripping apart an E series, sorry but the car had had its days as a road going vehicle. The blog's address is http://halifaxmotorsport.blogspot.com/. Other than that a great site, good to see a group of like minded people collaborating. Cheers.

Mad. What type of injection are you gonna run? CFI, MPFI, boost? Is it gonna be a just a track car or are you gonna compete in it?

Yeah should be good fun, i was hoping to track down a MPFI manifold, no luck with ebay AU though and mabye a bit of boost 4-5 psi after i get it running. I would like to compete in it, but i wouldnt know where to compete in something like it, so if i cant compete it would be a track machine

Thanks Fellas,
SnipeZ, a BBM manifold? would it fit the loom and injectors and stuff from the manifold in the picture below, the one below is one of the manifolds where the plenum and throttle body is above the rocker cover, ED or something i think, but if you think it will fit without needing a new ECU or a different fancy stuff, ill take you up on your offer
would anyone know if this combo would work, by the looks of the fuel rail it wouldnt work...

Thats a 250 crossflow setup mate, XE-XF, i dont think they fit on OHC motors?

I would buy another EB-ED MPFI to use as a parts car rather then sourcing everything
