doggey bolts?

i'd be asking why the bolts supplied with a 380kw clutch failed miserably

i've heard of standard ford bolts holding much higher power than what your making.

we used permatex not loctite brand... same shit really or so we were told, id never used permatex before (dylan used it on his brothers flywheel bolts with no problems)

and torqued the bolts up to ford specs which is specified in Nm whereas mal wood use a foot pound measurement... maybe they use fords nm reading and just use ft/lb instead which would make them all tighter... who knows.

here is the torque specs on it all

mal wood quoted to dylan they torque their flywheel to crank bolts up to 65 ft/lbs which is 88nm

Quick attempt photochop, kinda hard with different lighting and no brakes make it look odd,

And how about painting them a darker grey, kinda like dark agents but different wheel design.

Dark Argents are the same as BFGT, just grey

thanks guys. yeah i like the gt's more than the xr8's.
i saw a orange gt with my wheels but painted dark argent and it looked crap imo. thats why i wanna go silver wheels.

well ill prob chuck it up on car sales once i get it back, and if the right buyer comes along ( right $$ i mean lol) i guess it goes. see what happens.

ok well before my mishap at shep i did a few things to the car last-minute preparing for deca.
thanks to bentley again.

i put on some big swaybars. whiteline 30mm front 22 or 24 mm rears.
feels great to drive. no pics but ya all know what sway bars look like

.
while doing the sway bar i changed the swaybar mount. it was fuked.

and also i had a feeling that i had a R.H front wheel bearing gone.
sure enough it was so we fixed that. once again much nicer to drive.

car is better. still a slight noise from clutch but only when car is cold.
dont know if i said but pedders fucked my diff bush and put in a stock ford bush instead of nolethene.

also as i didnt have the car for 2weeks as soon as i got it back i was modding again

now has the bf interior silver grab handles. will post some pics when i get em.

however i think the ba gt wheels did suit it better

Looks sweet Dylan, amazing how much different a car looks with different wheels on it. I liked the BA GT wheels on it too as they not often seen, too bad they were only 18's tho, but the new wheels look fantastic mate, good work.
