Worst Part-Clear tail lights, thought it would be good but just diddn't work well. Dan said they were shit, i should have agreed

Best Part-Turbo kit, although the Clear indicators lifted up the front of the ED so well.

Worst buy - XR6, in retro spec i should have sold my ED and spent all my money on a 180, now i'll never get one. They look good but my reasons for buying one were just to have somthing more driftable and a pose.

Best buy - XR6, i love the El Xr looks and its became a project (moneypit), and being a ford man i enjoy owning a falcon, its newish, a bit more unique then owning an import or a BA. In reality, i probally would have got tired of the 180...

My Ed was a good buy, its hard to let go of your first car.

It was 2 years ago.

Jesus, you must have REALLY wanted it! Surely the average price for an EF Futura 2 years ago would've been $3-4k... My wagon (albeit GLi) was $2600 when I bought it 2 years ago.

My worst buy.....a 5 speed eb with a farked engine, little rego left, stuffed tyres, stuffed interior....and god knows what else stuffed for 1500 bucks.....lent it to a mate and he had it 12 months! Gearbox has now gone into my el and the rest to a mate.

My best buy.....A 94 EF Gli on gas for 500 bucks, rego till july (this was in early jan this year), good tyres, new brakes, sony headunit and pioneer speakers..... It had a stuffed front end, I spent 100 bucks on a rad support panel and had all the other bits to fix it. It has been a bloody good daily for the last few months!!

Best - EL gli for $3000. Before you laugh parents owned it from new and only had 160000km when I got it 3 years ago. Have done 50000km's since and haven't had a single thing go wrong, plus it is cleaner than any other e series I have seen for sale (been to look at 9 "immaculate" ghia's, xr6/8's this year).

Best- EB2 Ghia wreck, good money maker
Worst- EF Ghia, constantly fixing broken shit and was very annoying with all the rattles and squeeks. 300k will do that. it looked good tho.
