First post - ED Fairmont & ED Falcon

Hi all,

Nice Forum.

After being a Holden man for so long (3 V8 Commodores) - I have just purchased 2 - that's right 2 ED's

One is an ED Fairmont - White, 170K, Stock 6 - Got it for $1500 with rego - all matching panels, full service history - mint interior -good body - I love it - Goes great.

The other is a ED Faclon - Red - Got it for $610 with no rego - I've just put 12 months rego on it but this one has a funny problem (or it may not be a problem)

The 'smartlock' light is on all the time - Doesn't seem to affect starting or performance.

Seems to me more like a Dumblock....

Anyway - what could be the cause ??

PS - I really want to build up one of these cars - Turbo the inline 6.. anway - another day !

Umm.... the best ones are white!!!

Welcome to the forums. Definitely boost the fairmont!! Quick luxo is the way to go.

Not sure on your smartlock light issue. :S
