My 1st Ford.
1989 EA Ghia/Sunroof purchased mid 2004, dad had always bought falcons and thus the tradition had continued.

Tinted windows (20%)
Ultra lows all round.
15" XF Ghia's

Image

First taste of boot design.

Image

Washed, and clean, just before the motor decided to let go...completely. (should have sourced an xr6 at this stage for running gear)

Image

Early 05' I sourced a very tidy 1993 ED Fairmont 5spd, it wasn't to be.

Image

So.... I kept some stuff.

1st Of July 05
The BEAST, 1991 EA 30th Anniversary- slammed the night it was brought home, hooray for springs!

Image

The ED Mont helped me transform this bomb ea into a mock-up ED Ghia 5spd,
Pristine Interior
Exterior = $0 though most of you knew it as the "multicolour sxi ea" this was not for fun...the ed failed a VIV and it was a 400dollar shell....:( at least nothing went to waste..ghetto stylez.

Image

Pimped up the oldies Merc as i drove that for a few months. A pimpin' 81' S-Class with 18's on it.
Slammed on eibachs.

Image

Chrome work.

Image

November 05' 97' EL Fairmont,

Image

Boot 2.0 GREAT Compliments to my friend at DVE (brnesy) he also did the 1st display i ever had.

Image
Compliments to Joe - Jjm for the snaps at the docks one night

1998 VT Clubsport with nearly every possible option. (Some senator goodies)

Image

Traded this car in as my brother didn't want it at the time. (No garage space left.)

Currently;
The EL with some additions.

Image

18" Typhoons
Riding on SL's
5spd running el xr6 ecu. getting approx 11-12L/100 and it's not loud! (pacie 4499's etc...)
Immac interior.

3" Mandrel pipe and paccies + some old fashion overkill cabling, compliments DVE again... :)

Image

Stealth Paint.
Image

The s80 v8 4.4 232kw- 6spd awd goodness.
Sunroof, Premium Sound, Premium Brakes, 18's
Oyster Grey (Sandstone)
Jag XF Mirrors from factory.

BTW...If anyone is interested in a complete detail let me know.

stock? my 8 gets factory sport stuff not like the commos when they get a v8 they get the v6 brakes... :P
4wd and 18's, can't even put stockies on it to do 4wd demos cos it's got 336mm brakes.
Not that i would just seems you love stockies :P

it also beats an (e500 around a track with the mercs 50kw more and 100kg lighter body, 0-100 for the merc is 5.3) where as the volvo is 4.4 and 232kw, mine is only 0-100 in 6seconds go the 4wd!!!!

check out a pricing list at volvo if you don't know the models, top of the line is what i went for and i like it.

i do a useless 40mins of commuting a day, ELfordo can do it for me

So you're so rich that your million dollar volvo is too good for driving, and you cruise a 12 year old Falcon instead :P

Postby EBOOST » June 4th, 2009, 9:23 pm

is a bit weird having a daily over a s80 man but they are pretty heavy on fuel from what i see at work.
but i dont drive one so cant really say but most of the v8's i drive/service have an average of like atleast 18l per 100 but i dopnt no how the owners drive them.
but they are a very nice car to drive and id diffenitely rather it over a falcon.
but in saying that its a nice el niko.
cheers josh.

LOL mate u misunderstood... why have a daily for a new stock car... not knocking it but why lol

not like its manual with a spool dumped or some shit and uncomfortable to drive... thats what i mean by stock.. i know your car is very expensive and you are rich

I much rather drive the volvo daily to the fairmont

the fairmont is the economical freeway abuser...

i hop in the volvo and it puts along at 140 and you think "whoops" i wonder what i can clock if i flaw it that little bit more??
when the el is sitting at 100 you know it's sitting at 100, and both cars have 18's

the volvo was goign to be my all the time v8 gem but i ended up grabbing this EL for a decent price i put in between 30-40bux of 91 juice a week, the volvo i run the exp stuff so...it's not as cheap just for a daily, i have enough parkings at my apt for it...so why not...i actually had an ef ghia to beat around in but this had exhaust/lowered/wheels/manual/very clean already. so to me a tad cheaper than doing it all again...i don't wreck 2cars a month anymore lol

the volvo for me has that mafios prestige look with all the chrome work and then you start it and give it a rev.... it's not just your typical baby taxi anymore...like the box things they made locally...yes that's right, ford holden AND volvo used to be built all in australia...

i get approx 13 mix driving ppretty happy with it, considering it's 4wd and with that plush v8, helps with the 6spd,

jeremy clarkson reveiwed it http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/drivin ... 744767.ece can be read here. he knocks it etc etc but hey....i didn't pay as much as it says there!

he also reviewed the clubby i used to have. series 1 5.7 stroker, that thing used to get me 14-15mix driving so i had that running supurbly...

and you know what...i took some females out one night down chapel for coffee's, parked it behind a maserati, yes i did check it out, but you know what? i didn't feel one bit embarressed as my car has that prestigious stance. chrome baby chrome!

cheers rippy,

there's a tuning company called HEICO, the equivalent of HSV for Holden that have ripped out some wikid upgrades for the c30 locally however the s80...stuff has stayed in Germany...without special orders from the dealers locally.

some pics....yes i was very tempted to get the kit...and exhaust....and rims and brakes........
