driving: 180km/h by the speedometre however i have 234/50/17 which by my guess is almost 190km/h

passenger: i have been in an XY ute with a worked 351C but the speedo didnt wor at that time so dunno there, been in a '97 magna @210km/h, been in a turbo SR20 S13 Silvia, dunno how fast we went......... ask frost how fast he was goin in a 5L stato when he tried to over take us..... well frost?

Was a long time ago, my still best mates brother had a Tunnel-rammed 5 litre HZ holden p'van, we were in the back at 200km/h....cops just waved....lmao now......140 in my Mav...damn the EL motor is so smooth compared to the old nissan shi7box. Last but not least...80 to 160 on my old FZR1000 in about 10 seconds maybe even less, too busy watchin the road!!!!!!!!!!

The Fastest i have been in my EB was 180 , i used to have a XE falcon which i sold to Wolf ( Nathan ) And i did 170 in that but it could of went alot faster and so could of the EB.

i had the xe to 185 **** it was floaty ef has hit 180 i think with 2 fut **** in it

, i thought i was doing 100 on the highway and realised its 140 you dont feel speed in EA's.

fastest with some one else driving is a 650 hp supra playing around to 180 ish down a quiet road, (if you floored it it would spin wheels at 160 :shock:

)

Closed road pulled 5500 rpm down conrod straight...
3.27 final drive in 5th gear, 0.82 .. Just over 300 kph..

Would have been funny to watch the needle as it would be stuck at the bottom of the dash for ages, then when you start slowing down it'd still be there until you "slow" down to 200 haha

My best effort would be 190kmh in my EA, and 180kmh in the EF (limited), oh and 180 in Sunny's typhoon (by far the funnest, felt like it was only doing about 130, got there so quick as well, if he wasn't with me and I had my own car I would have gone up a gear and kept going, felt so safe

)

130mph (215km aprox) in a 67 Mustang (in America)

200 im my ed i didnt notice then i looked at speedo an freaked sat on 90 kays for the rest of the trip,i dont like speeding on pubilc roads i mens if i hurt my self meh but if i hurt some body else i couldnt handle that,ive seen some nasty things at car wrecks i dont want my friends or loved ones turning out like that so i try to watch my speed.Having said that in a bigger car its easy they pick up so smooth ya dont notice

Racing on a track day is fine tho infact i think it would be a good idea that way ya know how ya car handles

Fastest I ever gone was in my mates fc rx7 20b with 450 kw had it to 295 kmph... better believe it. That thing was mad. And it was still picking up speed I reckon it would gone to 350.and 260 in a friends gtr r32. But as of my cars 220 in my ef xr6 turbo and 180 in my fairmont. (Limiter)

in my old car 'mpresv' xf turbo i raced a vl turbo with autometer speedo he was sitting on 230kph topped out and i still pulled away couple more car lengths **** knows what speed it was doing had electronic gear dash not realy made for that application haha p/steer was so light that a slight touch of the wheel threw the car from lane to lane i shit myself pretty bad

old pos xd with mad worked n/a 6 pushing up to 200 (with 4spd manual and 3.50:1 diff but had to stop for kangaroo

and kia pregio diesel workvan "allegedly" done 159kph or so the police said. (took about 4kms and big hill lol) not that i admit it though

Today one of my best mates was tragically killed on his motorcycle due to excessive speed. I don't want to turn this thread into a sympathy vote, just keep in mind it can happen to any of us.
