Will's EF XR6

Postby willba79ax8 » June 6th, 2009, 3:26 pm

Hey Everyone,

Been on this forum for a few months now so i thought i would introduce my car. I bought this a car a few months back for 6 grand with 140,000 on the clock. It has the T5 manual gearbox which is great to drive.. Absolutely love the car, and there's definitely no shortage of power. The mods so far include bigger cam, performance chip, and pacemaker extractors and exhaust system. Sounds great. I am thinking of putting a pod filter inside the standard airbox, but I was just wondering would a K&N panel filter be just as good? The car was much lower, but it had to be raised to pass rego :( so I will be looking at getting it lowered again soon, but handles great on the pedders sports ryder springs and shocks. I hope you like the car, please give me some feedback.

Regards,

Will

you should paint or get a new red strip around the car, would tidy it up a bit. ;-)

yeah I know.. the strip is acctually pretty good.. the camera makes it look shit lol. I was thinking about doing the rear one though which is a little faded. but might as well do the whole thing at the same time.

want to get rid of the spoiler as well.. im going to see if i can get a standard boot from a wrecker, hopefully in grey already.. Also, Im going to paint the window surrounds as they've faded and blistered.

Cheers.

Yeh you can see in one pic the strips are red, the rest look pink! lol
Def needs re-lowering, and minus the spoiler would look good I rekon.
Maybe a quick/rip shifter with a shortened stick? One of the best 'driver' mods I've done.
Is it missing the bonnet vent on the pass side?
