I used my el XR6 and a EF XR8. I looked for EL GT's but was going to cost me about $1500. It was a good excuse to get the car professionally detailed!

The whole marriage plan hasnt been set in action yet but Ive discussed it with the missus and got the thumbs up  (the car idea I mean, not the wedding ha), I'll be using my old mans XY ute (vermillion), his mates XY (also vermillion, still in the build but it will basically be a twin of dads), a cousin's XY ute (white) and Ive another mate with a Maroon XY but its not as good looking as the others atm... and of course leaving in my falcon which.. plan is to have 20's for by then.

Go old school or E-series, I plan to have a touch of both :drinks2:

It's all a personal thing, but i wouldn't get any Falcon that isn't at least 25+ years old.

I'm best man in a wedding this Saturday and i think we're getting a few sick 57 Chev's. I reckon it'll be sweet. But my mate (the groom) is going to get his VS Stato and maybe another car of his round to his place, and just take some pics with the boys with them, but definately not using them in the wedding.

i wanted old skool fords too but had no luck and costed too much plus was too despressed after selling my XT. so ended up getting a 300c limo with 22inch dubs for the girls, a matching 300c sedan for the mrs and her dad to come in and used the money i would have used for hiring a car and modded the R34 (resprayed it black, got some 20's, coilovers, cooler, exhaust, sunroof and stereo) and the boys and myself went in that and we also used it to leave the reception at the end.
