car dies after half hour of normal driving

Hey I have an 89 Ea and after about half hour the car stops and there is no spark. After about and hour it starts to work again. I have replaced the ecu and the coil but it is still dieing does any one know what is wrong. :banghead:

yep, old age. sell it and buy a B-Series.

tried swapping the distributor??
tfi modules are known to die like that.(grey retangular block bolted to side of distributor) same with the hall effect sensors located in the dizzy
02 vx commodore.
Basically stock. Might fit a ls1 and manual eventually.

Oh and a 93 dc 2 Ltd. Rusting away. Past the point of being saved

Yer i will try changing the distributor on the week end and see if it makes a difference. It's not good when you are being followed by a semi and your car dies
