i finally drove a BF R spec F6 with the T56 last weekend, 20 000k's, leather brembos and shit. Almost, like as close as you'd get to putting a pen on paper, bought the thing, but the fact that it was built in december 07 and was back at the ford dealer for sale for $44 000 made me cry at the depreciation

anyway

they fucken haul for a stock car. Can only imagine what a flashed up one is like. Is it true its about 4k for a pad and rotor change with brembo's? Or was the dealer being a noob.

I think it's about $3K from memory. I know the AMG C32 is $4K, with the AMG brakes...

pads are about 700 for a set i think and rotors are like 1500....

can do yourself no harder than a ba xt lol.

also there is another brand thats basically the same as brembo who do pads n discs n stuff an its so much cheaper... the name of the company has slipped my mind atm....

also remember the 4 piston brembo combination.... its PBR discs, brembo pads and calipers... and the entire rear setup is all pbr but alot of people dont realise that

God damn thats a rip! i payed 315 for green stuff EBC's and you can get DBA's and RDA's to suit the brembo's. Im sure the rear brakes are just territory units painted red.

I don't have Brembos :( It's got the normal FPV brakes which are alright, don't like being bitten hard when cold but are good for the first few stops when they warm up. I think the brakes are identical to the ones in my BF come to think of it, just painted blue with slots in the rotors. They were replaced about 4000km ago by the previous owner though :D I think he said it cost him $800 :D Tyres were done by the 1st owner, about 10,000km or so ago. So it's stops, steers and grips around corners pretty mickey :D

Since the thread's been bumped.. more pics..

X=Xebec
A=Aerobic

An Xebec is a special three-masted sailing ship used in the Mediterranean, it's like the new "Jet" for number plates.

Well, I could be wrong, but I believe Xebec is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.

Yeah I was surprised it didn't have swaybars considering it's got the diff, shocks, camber kit and springs. I'll have a closer look but yeah highly doubtful. What colour and thickness are the good ones normally?

No updates with the car. Thanks to the shit weather and daily driving, it's pretty filthy.

Not sure.. been looking at BA2 Fairlanes, WK Statesmans and cheaper XR6T's mainly. The first 2 would be ideal as they can be put on LPG, I'm sick of 98 octane :(

Buttt, I'd like to keep the cash in hand as well, because I either wanna start a uni course or go to Europe and shiz next year.

EDIT: Guy from NSW is flying down next weekend for a look/possible purchase lol.
