I almost crapped myself when Lowndes nearly collected Prick Kelly. And again when Whincup lost it coming into the pits.

Good to not see a Holden on the podium. Sucked in to HRT/HDT/HSV/TWR whatever the **** those two teams are. I might go down to Clayton tomorrow and piff some bottles of brake fluid over the fence.

best bathurst i've ever seen i think. no stupid shit from either side, impressive mishaps, remarkable driving, and the best finish one could hope for, FORD MUTHAFACKIN NUMBAH ONE!@ how can lowndes and whincup both get that close to an out of control car and get away with it. i'm so happy courtney was up on the podium too. i've really been following him after ambrose left as ambrose was my #1 driver and 'young' courtney is coming along in leaps and bounds. watchout lowndes, it looks like a younger you!!

Big night satday night led to pretty much an all nighter and me dozing off throughout the race a lil. The last 16 or so laps were crazy! Pretty tense especially when they started fishtailing in the wet! Good to see a ford 1, 2, 3 AND only three Holdens in the top ten!! :D

Postby Commando » October 8th, 2007, 8:54 am

I celebrated by taking the EB out to Colin Watson Holden and ripping skids in their customer carpark. Payback's a bitch, coz the entire staff from Colin Watsno Holden ripped skids after bathurst, outside my parents' house in Boolarra, from 1999-2005. Kents.

Afterwards, I took the meatywh0re out for a spin, racing commodores from the lights near the Top Pub. It was funny, even when there was just me and a commodore at the lights, the commodore would still come 4th. Somehow, two other fords would materialise from nowhere to claim 2nd & 3rd, and being in Morwell, these fords were invariably XFs and cortinas.

I'll spend the rest of today uploading my 11ty brazillian meatywh0re "racecam" vids onto youtube. Catchwords - "Morwell, SKIDZ, kent"

It was a great race. Lowndes proved once again that he is one of the best drivers out there. I feel sorry for Jason Bright though - I bet that whole team are kicking themselves that they didn't put on wets. They would have won I reckon.

Annoyed with Channel 7 though, I am sure there were far more ad breaks than were necessary.
Oh, and I really hope they get themselves together and broadcast in HD next year!

We watched it through good ol' analogue and I didn't notice anything unusual.

Was farken sweet. :D Would like to have seen Ford 1-2-3-4-5-6 but I'm stoked at the result. There was a big group "WOHHHHH!!!" when Lowndesy come within a fly's cock of wasting pRick's car, during and afterwards on the replay.
