it sounds alot better then the stock one, especially when you tramp it. idling, sounds alright but could be louder i guess.
overall i like the sound, its a good improvement but i wouldnt mind it being a bit louder....so if you're after sound prob best to stick with the 3"
My ED fairmont was so loud and tuff... I miss the sound of her... lol

yep, it does. and another one down the line somewhere.

Phillis, how much did u pay for your Redback? Just curious cos i wanna know if i paid a reasonable price for it.

we should start a wagon thread or something if there isnt already one. We've kinda made efman's intro thread into one...

after:

I reckon I might put another coat of it on, could be a bit darker, but it still looks pretty sweet i reckon
might do the side repeaters also, did u do them Phillis?

and a wagon thread could be used for all of us e-series wagonners to show each other what we got etc...

Im going to get the leafs reset
do u guys think this a suitable way or should i just get lowering blocks?
I reackon getting them reset is a better way because it is more legal and no cops can see the lowering blocks and safer

well unless a cop is willing to jack up the back of your car, stick his head well and truly in there and have a good hard look, he wont notice lowering blocks. but yes, getting them reset is definatly the better option. however, its also the more costly option.

i'd say its more like a demented 2nd cousin twice removed lol, she keeps breaking down on me :( ah well, at least she looks good breaking down and i love her lol.
did you do the reverse lights with night shade? thinkin i might do that.

that chrome garnish is very blingy efman, although it does look good. would look sweet as with like a set of 20's or something. would love to put them on mine.
and am i to take from that it last post from that lowering blocks are illegal?

probably gotta drill holes in the trims, i cant see anything else you'd have to do.

lowering blocks are legal, as long as they arent made of timber.

and that garnish on waghooefs car, have a look at the paint scheme of the rest of the car. fits in well! i didnt touch the reversing lights with the nightshade either.

yes they would hit the arm rest handle........you could either get the Ghia trims and just fit the top section with the woodgrain bits to your existing doortrims, or do a power window conversion and fit the Ghia trims straight up

Re: EF WAGON

Postby efman » July 26th, 2009, 8:47 pm

Today i changed the radiator in my ef wagon as i thought it would help fix a problem with a creamy coloured sustance found in my over flow tank,
I was told to replace the radiator and this should help fix the problem, did all this with the help of my dad to find out that the radiator was fine after testing it,
so now i have two problems/ options, as i replaced the radiator the exhaust seemed to get loud without touching it which i thought sounded good but its not a really good thing
The next thing is to replace the head gasket (this is quite a large job, well at least to me it is as im 16) and get the head fixed if there are any problems and and if that doesn't help i will have to replace the injectors
Any ideas on what to do next as I'm on a small budget(well sort of)

It revs at one level and then it keeps on dropping revs, seems like a cylinder isnt firing, so im thinking blocked injector or head gasket
that only happens on petrol, runs great on gas and with the next exhaust it sounds great

had something similar happen to me two weeks ago, wasn't sure what it was til the car broke down. turns out it was the fuel pump.
you should take it to a mechanic or something to check it out. it will save you towing lol...which is what i had to do. how many kms has it done?
