A good place in melb to drive to?

Hey guys,
just wonderin if anyone on here has some good ideas for a place to drive to? I wanna take the el out for bit of a run,living in the northern suburbs an wanna drive bout 1.5 hours away...most likely a country run or something. Maybe even something with some good photo spots?

You can go healesville -> black spur -> kinglake -> lake mountain -> warburton -> up mt donna buang and back, then home

That is fairly epic and good fun.

Yeah probably just gunna drive up to Yea through Kinglake,stop and get some photos with the burnt bushland in the background,head up to Yea for a pub lunch then either back home or just to seymour and back

i cant wait for the next GOR cruise,hopefully my car will be running good next time around!
Keen to get the pics, got me an a mate both in the el xr's goin up so hopefully some will come out good, drove up there in his car this weekend just gone looking for some photo spots and it looks like theres a few good ones

About 50 kays from Marysville but it's about the only place on the road from there, All the ski hire at the moment is in Marysville because the Hire part of the Lake Mountain resort caught fire a few weeks back.
