Postby xdrft » August 12th, 2009, 12:05 am

Hi all,

I joined up to have a look at a few falcons I know of, drifting is a passion of mine and it pleases me to see you E series guys ripping it up.

There looks to be a lot of awesome cars and information here and I look forward to finding time to have a good read and contribute to the site.

My rides a xd with no boost, so bogan if you will, lol

All the best :D

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

ABS = spongy brakes, but you'll slow to about 60

non-ABS = lock up at 100 & skid past the roo doing about 95. But you'll look sick doing it

Thanks for your kind words,

Engine is a 408 cleveland, scat crank, eagle 6.125inch rods, crow roller cam, 4V tounged heads, TFC inlet, Crane Hi6 multi spark ignition, TKO 600 close ratio gearbox .85 overdrive. Strange alloy diff centre, chrome molly full spool with 4.33 motive gears, driveline services custom 9inch housing with chrome molly axles. RRS power rack and pinnion, RRS phase 4 brakes front and rear, RRS front strut conversion including lower control arms notched towers and radius rod bearings, RRS 3 link rear end, Tilton carbon button tripple plate clutch. Rod Andrews cams approved roll cage, lexen side and rear glass

Its a purpose built drifter and we have tried to keep as much weight out of it as possible hence no dash and no head lights.

We have yet to fit the clutch, wiring loom and rear end expecting to be complete by october.

Cheers

There will be a few boosted 6 owners on here who deep down (they will never admit it) that would love to do dirty things to this car

Thanks, I make no secret of the fact we have built this for Drift Australia, getting there will be another thing I guess, but we have big plans for it. We have received enormous support so far and at this stage we cant see any reason why we cant compete at the highest level. I understand it will be a steep learning curve but being part of thye action is our initial goal.

Thanks for your support guys, I know a few of you from other forums and its great to see you here. Thanks for the referal to this site Tim its awesome, good to here from you too s_pack.

Soon we will have it going and get some track time in, one of the best parts about the NT is the fact you can hire Hidden Vally very cheaply. I hope once its sorted and we start competing we wont let you all down. Thanks again for your kind words, we are counting on the interest we can garner from the ford community to help put some sponsors on the car, you are the guys that really count to us, thanks a lot.
