Geren's piece

Hey all,
Drive an '92 EBII GLi auto (317,000km)... Scott lotsa problems..
ATM, wipers wont engage.. The cat rattles at around 1100rpm.. Alarm siren wont sound (stock).. Front and back seats dirty (dad with his "free firewood")
Rear right door trim missing.. Rear bumper sunk down bout 5cm on left side (got hit).. EA cluster's tacho needs a flick to engage..
Tranny knocks heavily going from 1st to 2nd after about 30mins driving.. power steering pump leaks.. smoke out the back (3cm or so visible).. black/sooty spark plugs..
Also, you can hear how much pressure I'm applying on the brakes from outside the car (must be rust somewhere along the line).......
Thats everything I can really point out at the moment.. So its a piss poor example of an EB.. Am planning to get it "fun" by the Ocean Road Cruise (Dec 9)
But yeah, love it here at "boosted".. Great work guys

Old-ish photo this one. Since, the doors on right hand side have been fixed up nicely.

Welcome. Your EB has nothing on my EA in the problem stakes, not that it really bothers me. How are you planning on making it fun by December ?

Well, come December, I'd like to get a 2.5" on and fix some of the "must be done" things. Like with the cat etc..

Sounds like an absolute bomb.

But that's a good thing, means more work to do! :D
