Paint match actually looks pretty good on the car the photo from Kyle doesnt do it justice as it looks to be a lighter color in the pic

stay with the ghia rims and throw a white wall

FTR's with this look just wont cut it because its not a sports look but a more classy look.

ABS = spongy brakes, but you'll slow to about 60

non-ABS = lock up at 100 & skid past the roo doing about 95. But you'll look sick doing it

Postby Schmee » August 17th, 2009, 8:46 pm

Not a full spray just a tidy up on the bits needed.....

had the rear panel fixed up, and new tailgate fitted....was backed into a pole before I bought it...
complete roof spray and removal of roof rack
both front door frames and top section of doors from moulds up
bonnet and tops of guards aswell as top of front bar
complete rear bar spray aswell

just waiting on the chrome mould to be done on the rear bar and the rest of the chrome moulds re-taped

might even make an appearance at the next mini meet....

venetians are in the shed....mmmm black ones, just the side windows

DL rims and whitewalls dunno yet...

going to paint my trailer same color, Cardinal Red next time it gets a seeing to as it needs some repairs.... and a set of FTR's to make the package complete

future plans at this stage......ummmmmm dunno

all work is being done at Ultrafinish in Dandenong

glad you guys like it when it comes back I'll get some more pics of the work that has been done on the ol girl....I havent had much of a build thread as yet so maybe I'll do a full one....

Should look great when done Kev.

If you're hunting for the rear venetian, there's a place that advertises on ebay, that does them for around the $200 mark new.
