94 ed futura wagon, black pearl. needs a few things for rwc.. $700 she said i can have it for.
needs a bit of work, roof lining, roof needs new paint, strips by the windscreen are peeled and need new paint. needs a good clean inside, needs new paint on the rear bumper.. yeah thats kinda stuff..

Yeah you can get one of those permits from the Department of Transport. Gotta fill out a form that tells 'em who you are, how many times a day you shit etc., where you're going n fork out some cash. Unless you know someone that works in a car yard and can lend you a trade plate

so at the moment im driving with no lights on my dash, well only the only that lights up my speed.

Anyway if anyone can help me with this that'd be great.

i bought those blue led's for your dash, months and months ago, only to realise, when you pull the bulb holders out, the actual bulbs dont come out of the holders, thats the blue holders though, as on the back of the cluster there is blue ones, black ones and grey ones,

the grey and black ones have removable bulbs.

so anyway i got some free black bulb holders from the wreckers, and i dont no where the problem it but my led's dont light up when i put them in.

i turned my lights on while putting them in, and they kinda flicker a bit when touching the contacts but thats it!

i got pissed off, pulled the led's out, plugged shit in everywhere, slammed it all back together, still got like 4 screws leftover from pulling the facia off and such...

even though i plugged my normal bulbs back in, no lights.

ALSO! no more beeping when i turn the ignition off with the lights still on?

i got fkn owned.

well, a bit of an update,

got slotted and drilled rotors for the front and rear. Done a bit of research on bedding them in and whatnot, just have been going easy on them.

just when i can i will lightly break from 70ish to 20ish, and then a bit harder from the same speed, havent given them hell yet, stopped the gay shuddering at high speed, 100ishm although it shudders when lightly breaking at roughly 60 :cry:

well the brakes are great!

gave them a bit of a clean as the shuddering might have been from a tiny bit of oil residue on the rotors still..

awesome braking power now, well compared to what i had!

not just gotta replace the damn shocks.. POS cheap ebay crap giving me the shits.

reminds me of this dude up here in an ef thort it wud be kewl to do a burnout on a dirt road until the back wheels made a hole, but then he cudnt get out so he left it there with the lights off and we ran into him with my dads utee. at like 140.

so i reversed off the road onto the sand,and then yeahhhhhhhhhh.... oh shit.

i knew it wouldnt go too well. but the sand did look alot more stable than it was

Well, it has certainly been a while!

I have done a few small bits and pieces to the car. Bought a 3:45 out of an xr, yet to put it in though.. Got some leather seats, installed electric windows and fairlane door trims. Removed the sub's and amp and put some new 6" speakers in the front doors. Just little things really. put in a center console light (the one at the back of the console) removed the stupid guages that i put in for no reason.
It's all about having a nice tidy car to drive :drinks2:

And holy crap, once you get electric windows, you never go back! am so glad i put in the hours of installing those fuckers!

Would love to continue with some more mods and such but all my money is going into savings for overseas, so nodose will have to wait!
