cassieBABY's EA & AU. New Pics Up!

Postby cassieBABY » January 13th, 2009, 11:47 pm

not long got my 89 ea falcon. it was a gift from my dad lol. best present to date.

hasnt got any engine mods as of yet; its still a work in progress tho.

all the pics are from when it was on stands getting the diff replaced.

it has a lsd out of an ed ex police pursuite car. ( back in the day when ed's were cop cars lol. )

& it has clear tail lights as well. (clearly haha.)

interior gagets & audio:

; custom red center console cover & gear shift boot. ( done by my best mate! )
; red neons in front on a switch & soon to be red neons in the back.
; blue neon boot lights.
; kenwood headunit.... soon to be pioneer headunit, due to my partners laziness its not in yet lol.
; 2x pioneer 12" subs.
; had a dodgy amp, blew it up. in the process of getting a new one.
; 2x pioneer 6x9's in rear.
; 2x stock 4" speakers in front.

soon to come mods & audio

; superlow suspension.
; exhaust system.
; complete new engine. 4L el motor, turboed.
; pioneer 1000watt amp.
; custom body kit.
; complete respray.
; new window tit ( old tints very dodgy )

& more that i cant think of right now.

Yeah the taillights look alright on this car lol (Y)

Looks like you got a good starter, if your going to do engine mods, grab an EF-AU XR engine and plant it in there ;)

Personally I'd put the standard taillights back on, and give it a Ghia garnish as well. +1 for neon removal

Take out the inserts, paint them and put them back in :) My car has similar only in pink. My console lid is in pink fluff, simply cover it. Very easy to do.

Not a fan of the red but each to their own. Simple mods for starters :)

just a little comment for now.

finally got my amp; 800w pioneer monoblock.
its pumping my 2, 12" pioneer subs hard.
very happy at the moment.

car will be getting lowered this week sometime.
so pics will be up soon yay!

as for the tail lights. some of you's arent fans.
but i like them and think they suit the car well.
and they gonna stay there til the car is resprayed.

looking at getting an exhaust system but not sure.
what will go & sound well... any suggestions ??

also just found out i've got a leak in one of my
radiator hoses lol... so gotta get that fixed soon.

so far i've only done a few mods do to lack of funds
cause my parners been off work. but hes back now.
so i'll be pumping majority of my money into the car.

thats all for now guys. hope to hear some more feedback.

What happened....clutch dump or was the gearbox already loose on the bell housing bolts and just cracked after a bit of a fang or did the gearbox seize?

It does not look like the clutch or flywheel became grenades.

Not good.

The Clutch Is Shredded & Frayed, But The Flywheel Is Fine.

Cruising On The Highway Went To Change To 5th & There Was A Massive Bang & Then That Was It.

Im Thinking Your Right About It Being Loose & Just Breaking Underpressure.

Gearbox Didnt Seize That We Know Of.

But No Matter How It Happened, I Did It Big Haha. So Time To Replace Everything :)

Shall Have The Car Back Tomorrow Or Tuesday. After A Fair Amount Of Money Later No Doubt Lol.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
