Best way is a power balance test on IDS (if you have access to one) to locate the cylinder. Pull the rubber boot that goes onto the spark plug off and look at the underside of the coil. There is a small square flat section on it. If the coil is dead, 90% of the time there will be white external leakage marks in this area.

i have non-gen coils in atm, they are dooing fine so far. last ones were from factory they did about 160k's then died. i think thats pretty good.

I took a punt on a non-genuine set last year and one died after 10k km's or so, so I threw them all out.
