[WIZZRD] a.k.a APV SR3900 is off the road

Postby santoitaliano » May 26th, 2009, 12:18 am

Hey all..

a while since last post..

bit of an update.

friday morning at 8am on flemington road someone who wasnt paying attention decided to change lanes into me while he was stationary and i was at 55kph...

long story cut short shes not a very healthy gal at the moment :this: :bye:

By the looks of it one of my beautiful simmons is destroyed as he hit me right on the wheel, a upper and lower control arm change is needed.. new stub axle, rack and pinion, new guard on the front left, bit of paint in some other bits. The collision had so much force it knocked off my rear bar and cracked my right hand side skirt!

Worst part of it is that the car isnt registered and therefore doesnt have insurance. The dude says he'll pay up but it will be interesting to see what happens. I recently dropped my insurance to third party, but luckily they'll cover me to 5grand if worst comes to worst.

Cross your fingers for me guys! :beg:

take care... hopefully she is better sooner rather than later... hopefully i dont get fucked around in the meantime by this dude..

Good luck with insurance. Just goes to show no matter how well you drive there's always some tool out there looking to wipe you out. My EA went in the same way, I hope you have more luck with insurance than I did! If you have to, buy the wreck back and repair it!

thank god the kit isnt damaged.. a little bit of damage to the right hand side skirt... easily fixable. When i was hit on the front right, the whole car on that side lifted up and the back bumper and skirt smashed against the ground.. the front bar has no damage apart from scrapage.

:-( quote is in from panel beater $4800.00 for mechanical & panel & wheels..

Yeah my EA hold's that special place as well. It's about 5 metres by 2 metres, out the back of the garage on the patio. It'd be more special if the EA wasn't there.
