Which coolant to use? PLS HELP

Hi guys,

Would like to find out what type of coolant is required for a Falcon El 98 model?

I went down to Ford who said to use the same coolant used in the BA's?

What made me trip was that I thought the el came out with pink coolant and

now the ba use a green coloured one and to mix the two is a no no??

Could some pls clear this up as the coolant in the el is rusty brown and needs

replacing asap.

Green coolant's fine. I never stuck with any specific brand of coolant but always used green and a few months ago when I removed the water pump, there was no signs of rust at all! Just don't mix the coolant. Drain the current coolant, and replace it with fresh green coolant.

Dont think you can get the ford pink shit anymore thank god. Worst stuff ever. Would eat through gaskets, water pump seals and radiator tank seals. So bad the hoses actually go a pink colour. Flush the hell out of it and put in green stuff.
