Here is my baby, she is a '92 EBII GLi with SVO badging. She has Ridium spark plugs, super inductive core leads, EF Thermo-fans, HM headers 3 into 1 extractors (soon to be replaced with Pacie's ceramic coated tri-y's) leading into Hi-flow cat and twin-tip zorst. King Low springs, replica BA 17" XR rims. Soon to also get EF/EL intake headers (ceramic coated) and custom ECU. The body has an ED XR spoiler, and EL XR hood inserts and a sprint front. Soon to get EF/EL doorhandles and mirrors (colourcoded of course). Soon also to be given to the missus and replaced with an EL XR8. For pics, go to http://janeisababe.tripod.com/id7.html

Yeah, my camera's batteries are dead, and I can't find the spares atm. All the SVO badge is, is a "SVO" badge replacing the "Falcon GLi" badge. The front is still an ED grille.

Depends when you last saw it, as I've only been to two cruises, and there was quite a timeframe difference...

Since the last one, i've only really fitted a new racing wheel, and ED XR bootlid lip spoiler. I've been a bit strapped for cash, but hopefully next year i'll be able to do those mods i mentioned in a previous post in this thread.

Hey Glen, didn't know you were on these forums, how ya doin'? StockiEF - I HATE debadged cars, it's like a person without a name, plus debadging an early E-series leaves an indent in the plastic bootlid cover where the badge was, its not like a newer car that you can clean and fill the holes with bog. I want to tint the windows, but i'm not exactly financially well off atm... and I have to move out at the end of the year (Got a job at Ford in Geelong). Agree, EB's are one of the cheapest cars on the road, but so what? When your 3,000 dollar car can do 0-100 in 7 seconds with only thermo-fans and the wrong type of extractors, that is a special model! When you belt up holdens that are 10 years newer and modified aswell, you stop caring that your car cost less than dirt, and love the fact that idiots pay more for worse cars!

If you ask around, I'm sure you could get a tint job done for <$200 (minus paperwork/warranties). ;)

Yeah, but then it just looks weird. I prefer badging on all cars wether you can cover the holes or not. SLOLS1 - Love to... :P With the tint, i'd rather a warranty, as they look terrible if they bubble, and I won't be able to do anything about it!

Basically, I got a new job next year, that pays A LOT better than my current job, so hopefully: A tint, better extractors, new air intake, custom ECU, taller ratio LSD, udjustable shocks. Then the car will belong to my lady friend and be replaced by an EL XR8.

It's all in good fun. Geez, do you guys all have bowling balls crammed up your arses? Everyone here is so serious! Can't take a bit of humour! I come on, show my baby off, get 1 guy saying "Nice ride" (ty), and everyone else is all "You have an attitude problem" or can't accept the fact that I don't like my cars debadged. Everone has an opinion! Mine is mine, yours is yours, and if I'm happy with my car, I honestly don't give a rats what you think. I'll show it to you, but if you don't like, stiff, I ain't changing it for you.

In my time street dragging my list of sore losers includes a VN, VP, VS 5L V8, 2 VX's and a VT 6 cyl, (one was a manual too), Nissan 300Z, BA XT and a VT SII 5.7. If I drag SLOLS1 (who really doesn't seem confident in his car judging by the name :P ) and lose, then so what? I'm still proud of my car, it is a 15y.o base model that started life as an auto company car, then got bought out by that guys father, who had it for about 12 years, then to be bought by an 18y.o who had bigger plans than his budget would allow, but managed to give it a manual conversion, then sold it to me a month later, and I also had bigger plans than my budget would allow, and It cost me more than it should with a bit of bad luck and a dodgy mechanic, and it still manages to burn off cars mentioned above with a pre-mentioned low level of mods. I am well aware it isn't the fastest car in the world, but its a good car, fairly fast, and incredibly reliable and IMO looks fantastic.

I think i'm going to stick to FAF, people there have open personalities and manners.

wtf? homad's post was in jest ;) most of our posts here have been in jest if I'm not mistaken?

Congratulations to you for beating an LS1, any details on the VT? (auto/manual, seemingly stock or obviously modified, did the VT have a carload of people in it, etc)?

Just reading thru your website, you might find you've got a 12 valve engine, not 24 ;)

I'll have an exhaust-off with you one day at an E-Series meet  just to compare a V8 to a six

You might want to fit an XH snorkel in place of your std one? Might be just for wank factor, but it was *the* mod for the 3.9/4.0 a couple of years ago.

Any more pics?
