BI6TIM's new car.

Postby BI6TIM » October 3rd, 2009, 11:08 pm

Hey guys, as you know, I sold the falcon this week. The plan has been to sell both the falcon and the s13 I've had as a daily for the last 9 months and get one car that can do all the things I want in a car. Of course it's not as raw and manly as the falcon but as a package, this car has everything IMO.
Anyway, here it is. These are the photo's from the 'for sale' add, they're all I've got at the moment as I just picked the car up a couple of hours ago.

Came with front mount, with necessary piping and 3" stainless exhaust from turbo back. Everything else in the engine bay is stock.
Tien coil overs, front strut bar and short shift kit. The car is pretty much totally stock other than that stuff.
I love it, so light and nimble, so much fun.

True it was a bit rough seeing someone else driving away in my car but at least it's gone to someone who appreciates it. I spoke to the new owner today and he's still got a grin from ear to ear. He loves it.
I'll build another one one day I reckon.

Oh, the wheels will be gone as soon as I get some other wheels to go on it. Not my style at all.

Thanks Fonzy, would love GTR seats, maybe one day if there's ever any for sale.

on a side note, saw a real nice r32 today, all black and nice and low on R34 gtr rims, suited it, i reckon they would look mint on your s14...

As much as I love the s15 front, I also love the s14 front and I don't think I'll be doing a strawberry face with this car.

Plans for this car, when the money becomes available, will be: PowerFC and turn the boost up, KAAZ, different wheels, rear camber arms, change my rose jointed castor arms from the s13 to this car. That will probably be it for a bit depending on how the money situation is.
After that, at some stage, will be cams and rocker stoppers, some sort of GT30r variant and no doubt I'll then need to upgrade the clutch also.

That's the plans that I've thought of so far.

These are the two wheels I'd really like to choose from for it.

1. Volk GT-C

2. Volk TE37 (the ones on the red 180, of course)

I'm liking the GT-C best at the moment.

Postby BI6TIM » October 4th, 2009, 9:55 pm

Thanks guys for all the supportive posts. FordFairmont, I did not mislead anybody in the sale of my falcon. I needed to do a gearbox conversion to be able to turn the power up, which was going to cost me upwards of $3000 then what ever the cost of parts as I go to make more power.
All money I didn't have.
With the money I got for the falcon, I bought this S14. With the money I get from the sale of my S13, I'll upgrade this S14 a bit. when I run out of that money, that's it, the s14 stays like that. The beauty of the s14 is that with 250-300rwhp they make such a good street car, can drift and are still cheap to run, perfect. Even though my money is none of your business, now you know what's happening.

On a lighter note, been driving this around today and loving it more and more, it's everything I've been wishing my s13 was and more.

Hey misk, what ever came of that 2JZ project you had going a while ago? Still going?

I must say, I do miss the raw mid-range torque that the falcon delivered with such gusto, I'm sure I'll get over it but I certainly do miss that.

I did what now, pin dick? If you are reffering to the original AU I had and then the XR8, I still had change from the sale of the supercharger kit and the car after buying the XR8. I then lost my job and sold the XR8 for a proffit and bought a shitty EL XR6 for a quarter of the price. That was promptly sold due to being a shit box.
