I dunno, just seems a little too random to be true. Then again, it is you, so maybe it is! I just seem to recall you saying you werent spending any money on this thing is all.

Leave the motor in the EB, sell the ute and buy turbo parts with the money you get.....win win? I think so.

Nah the eb is fairly fcked.

I like having a ute too. Ill put the motor in if I dont find a cheap BA ute before I take holidays next month.

Its not like its a big deal to fit. All I have to do neaten up wiring, drop it in move the battery and overflow and mount the accelerator pedal.

Put DOHC in cheap AU ute?

Pros
- aren't as big a piece of crap as the XH-XG utes
- good range of brake upgrades
- a bit more modern, can look decent
- has the same tub as a BA

Cons
- its an AU
- possibly more of a headfcuk than DOHC into XH-XG?

Nah not getting an AU.

Its XG with BA motor or a BA.

After jack knifing a trailer 30 minutes ago I reckon Ill stick with the XG until rego runs out next year then decide what to do. :S XR6T's will be a lot cheaper and I should have a house by then with hopefully a decent garage to put a car in.

I like the buying house thing better then spending money on depreciating assets like farked cars.
Then again you could always find something better then a turbo ute, tornado haha they should come down in value a bit by then :)

Nah I hardly drive so dont want anything too fancy.

The ute is for carrying the bike to the bush and doing small trips to bunnings and shit on weekends.

Its a shame they have those problems with the hinges and handles otherwise they would be pretty good for that off roading stuff with a lokka in it and some height. I got my EF in places it shouldn't have gone back in the day haha = much fun XD

I have thought about getting a hilux but the tray is too high to get my bike on. Plus getting a 4wd will mean 11ty worth of 4wd mods again. Even standard stuff like suspension, winch, winch bar, snorkel and decent tyres would eat up like $4k in no time at all.

I need to get another house asap so I dont have enough cash to make a stupid decision. :P

I saw a white XG yesterday - fairly straight body, lowered on FTRs, and tinted windows. So simple but looked decent for an old Ford ute.
