An LS1 into a ford would provide many hours of entertaining threads for me to argue with people I dont know about things I dont care about.

Do it.

Pretty sure there isn't enough ice in the world to sustain a significant number of LS1 conversions, so it will never become popular.

how to pick an ice junkie 101
- they fill your esky up with rocks
- they gee up hard when they see the local servo selling for $3 a bag
- they think LS1 owners put an eighth on their manifold to prevent heatsoak

It'd probably piss the person off who did the conversion, spending heaps of money to put a motor in that is no better than the one that came out...

Do it anyway though, OED has been looking for an F6 engine for ages. We'll take yours :)

LS1 into KE70. Someone do it.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

LS1 into a modern XR8 or GT would be a conversation starter for sure. The best part for the owner is that the car might be quick then.

Pretty sure it's been done down here, either KE70 or KE30, nothin_suss would be able to confirm that I'm sure.

+1

You could also make some money back by selling the old motor to a shipping company.
