Nathan's 98 Fairlane

Postby 98NLFAIRLANE » October 22nd, 2007, 2:16 pm

Hey guys,

for those of you I haven't yet met (and for those I have that know little or remember little about me) here is my little intro.

I am 18 years old, just sold my 66 mustang coupe and am still the proud owner of a 1998 NL 5.0 Litre V8 Fairlane. (as well as a yaris but we wont mention anymore about that)

I live on the south side of Queensland making it hard to attend the meets but the harder part is I am still only on L's... thats what you get for getting your restricted pilots licence first huh...

The Lane is pretty standard apart from:

17" shadow chrome, 5 spoke AMG "Quake's"
Genie Extractors
Custom Exhaust system
Lowered 3' on King's springs

By the end of January it will have a 7/8 in flip Clarion LCD DVD unit, a 1200W light up AMP, 1000W AMP, Dual MTX woofers and four 6" MTX speakers.

by the end of next year I hope to have it rolling on 19" XHP "jet" rims (DROOLS)

here are some pics of it at the moment.

Oh man I feel your pain, love the Mustangs. Fairlane is very nice indeed.

Hope to see you on a few more outings. When do you move to P plates?

Such a shame to see the Mustang go. The Fairlane is grouse though.

Good luck with it all.

I know you guys don't "encourage" illegal dragging, but sometimes I just can't help getting that little bit far enough infront of modded up jap crap and rubbing the l's hahaha

is that a bad thing?

I can admit I am not the best driver, but I know for my amount of experience I am pretty far ahead of alot of other people with the same amount of time behind them as me. I don't like going too fast though, not until I hit a track anyway... but yeah.... ipswich on ramp at bunnings was fun ;)

I really do wanna become a good driver
