Car for the mrs under $3000?

Postby mooseman » October 27th, 2009, 5:10 pm

The mrs needs a new car. She is pretty much all about looks. She likes the Nissan Exa but I know nothing about them. She is coming from a 1.3l barina auto. Need something with more balls then that....Preferably Auto and sporty looking.

So far she likes

Nissan NX Coupe
Integra
Prelude.

Anyone wanna take a punt at the pick of the bunch for her $3000-$4000 range?

i had one for a while and was amazed with how well it went with 300,000+ kms on it.
+ they fit into the price range

Rebuilt bottem end, slightly worked head ( port and polish, shaved 20thou)

Nissan Exa - Death traps

Nissan NX Coupe - Junk

Honda Prelude, Integra anything Honda - Expensive to fix, junk

Suzuki Mightyboy - If you hate your Mrs and you want her to die

Buy her a any Toyota Camry 1994 onwards, pretty much the most reliable car in the world........

- Big car
- Big boot
- 4 cyl engines are great very reliable + they have good power (even in auto transmission)
- Best air conditioning
- Safe
- Cheap on fuel

If she wants it to be a sporty car, buy a Sportivo badge of eBay.
