Lights look a bit full on, I had mine like that, so I took every second one out near the top, maybe do that at the bottom and see how it looks?

yer they stand out a bit hey.. i got another set of lights im tryin different designs on over the next couple days.

dark agents are going on thursday now, cant wait - i havn't seen any e series yet with them in 20z so im not sure how they will look..

but i drive the eb daily now, and keepiing chrome rims clean is pissin me off, they get dirty every 2 days that and i also want to start running the 1/4 in this thing early next year and im not keen on doing that with hub adapters on, so new rims are pre au offset.

i wanted simmons, but nothing good came up till i saw these.

The only bad thing about big rims is you cant get it low enough. Hence me going for stockers - Lower ride height and cheaper tyres :)

Might have to fill the 20's with big brakes too :)

How so..? 225/30/20's have a smaller rolling diameter then the 235/40/18's I have now .. sure 225's on a 20" rim are gay but its not going to be a big difference in r'd with a 245 tyre, probably just enough to fag with the ball joint :| . Lots of ppl say that you cant make a car low on 20's... why?

Example...probably a bad one as his front sits a little high but I've worked out 20's will fit on mine how it sits and from side on theres a 5mm visible gap on the front.

Au offset. Speedy Envy Hp's I believe... pretty sweet wheel but a little boring on some angles.

im not really spending mass ammounts on it.

i get alot of stuff cheap now that ive built quite a few cars, ive met alot of contacts along the way.. and also met alot of contacts in teh car industry as im a carsalesman.

not only that i do nearly everything i physically can myself which saves me on labour and leaves more to spend on parts.

trying to not spend heaps on this as it was only supposed to be a daily while i rebuild the vt and ive gone a bit stupid on it

yer 12k isnt all that much though imo for what the car has to offer, thats also including the new trim which hasn't been finished or put in yet.. i did pretty well with the intial buy getting something with this motor and body.. ws just a matter of bringing the car back from the dead and fixing everything and making it better, but im very happy with how its panning out

i got alot more in this car than what i would have got in a same year and model calais, and i think im enjoying working on this for something different.. commodores are fairly common and it gets boring after a while.

Yea it did look pretty sweet starting off, had a great starting base, and itll look awesome with the interior once its in. what youve done to it is different which is good to read about and see. ever thought of going the same way as effalcon and airbagging this or even the vt?

im still tossing up whether to keep mine, spray it(paint is fucked), drop it and then turbo once im off my greens or go out and buy an xr, eh time will tell

airbags are already on the cards for the vt, just a matter of sorting out with my engineer what way is best.. and with that comes money i want to engineer everything at once including the shaved doors ec..

but no i wont be airbagging the eb as its a daily. the whole reason i pulled the vt off the road is because of police, so i pulled it down for a rebuild all the legal way and engineered with 20z,shaved handles and bags.

buy an xr dude, save your cash..

Don't think I'm a fan of the taillights, but they're different and stand out. Will be interesting to see what else you're gonna come up with. Bulk effort for a daily but.

IMO it's coz you look for tyre tuckage on small rims, rim tuckage on big ones. Plus you have lack of sidewall flex with a lower profile. I can just get out of my driveway on 18s; on 15s my zorst cops a hiding.
