for a 150,000km+ example bog stock 13k +
this has 113,000 remus exhaust turbo back fitted by subaru, boost gauge, boost controller (has been set to stock since installed as i got from a mate an he only installed it cos i told him to up his boost but he chickened out) and a front strut brace...

im not saying how much i paid but it was a very good price considering he bought it 5 years ago for $26,000

About 10k if you look around

Neighbour bought a 99 one for $8500, 140,000km's and an oil leak on the turbo side rocker cover gasket - seen the same leak on every WRX I've been in (4 or 5) but should be easy / cheap to fix.

They aren't bad cars, handle good and go pretty good.
They don't go through too much fuel either :-P

So what made you change from the BA to this?

Just don't thrash it to often or else you'll be up for clutches and cv's, maybe even a gear box. Unfortunately that is the only way to get these things off the line quickly. Not sure how much power this thing has now, but I remember munching a mates bug-eye WRX when he bought it ext demo in my old AU, cos he was too scared to launch it hard.

Was gonna keep the el for a while but a very good mate had told me he was thinking of getting rid of this. The price I paid played a big part too lol. But yeh it's heaps better than my ba. I prefer handling over straight line speed anyway. Can't do high speed an keep your license but can thrash a car around hair pins and stay under limit.
