I was looking at the new twin turbo V6 engine today at Sema.. I would say there would be mods done to exhaust manifolds as the std
are fairly bassic with no tuneing and very small to turbo's..[I guess room restrictions ??? is the reason }
I asked the Ford head engineer if there was any issues with these engines in testing them in high rpm ..
Said all the durability testing, the bottom end didn't have any issues..
Said if anything if valve springs where made heavier duty and higher rpm there would be valve train issues ..
But I stress thats when pushed bloody hard, way beyond normal conditions..
