tangcla's Liberty GT

Postby tangcla » May 6th, 2009, 8:42 am

So I thought I'd post up what I drive.

No, it's not a Ford :P but I guess it ain't a Holden.
It's also not a RWD car. :D
It also doesn't have fifty gazillion killowatts at the wheels... but it has a fair bit of handling mods done to it, and for a lux-o-barge it handles surprisingly well :D

Best looking model of Liberty IMO. Is it a B4?

Liberty B4 was the designation for the older shape Liberty... they call it a Liberty GT now :)

Nice Subi! I like the '00-'04(?) ones personally. Conservative but not boring (to me).

Mum's got a manual '00 GX, the only thing it's lacking is torque. I could go for a 2.5 RX/Outback wagon, I know a couple of members on here have similar taste when it comes to Subarus.

Liberty > Impreza.

The STI Versions of these look mint.

I'd take a Liberty GT over a WRX anyday.

oh man, that is a beautiful car mate, love it!! Definitely Liberty GT > WRX all the way. I actually looked at an 01 Liberty B4 myself, but they are still asking just a little bit out of my range, so ended up with bogan spec XR8! :P I'm sure your car would out handle pretty much any Falcon on the road though!

Not sure about 'any Falcon' but at least I can put what little power I have from engine to tyre to road :)

What year is it? that body kit looks great too. Love the scoop extension.

Auto or manual?

Do you have any inside shots?

It's an 04, auto. Interior is stock so I didn't take a photo of it. The dashboard does a self-initialization sweep when it's started though, should get a photo of that for you.

Always loved these model libertys, want one myself, Id definity look at one over a BA-BF, theres something bout them that just does it for me. My bro actually owns one but I havnt seen it to know how they go/handle. Having a GT would be even nicer, nice work mate, love your shots.

Oh yeah. Umm, remind me in a week or two when I get my car back. I left it at my mechanic's for a service and tune, and haven't been bothered to get it back because I don't need te car daily :)
