i went for a year without a car when i got my license, i borrowed the money off the old man n he didnt want me to buy a shit box that i'd have trouble with cuz im only on apprentice wages so he kinda had a say in wat to get.. i originally just wanted a 5spd commo but i ended up buyin this in mint condition n im happy with it :) and i dont really plan on gettin rid of it unless i need a ute for work later in life..

Sweet first car, I thought I was doing well with my EF ghia as my first car :-P

Looks mint, probably one of the only cars that would suit a set of chromies.

Hmm, wonder what it would look like if you painted the reflector between the rear tail lights white?

EDIT:

Done a quick photoshop;
Image

I'd do it :-P

Deosnt look bad at all though does it John? If I had a spare garnish I'd definitely have a crack at it.
First mod I'd go for would be a manual conversion, followed by a mild regrind cam. Bugger the rims, it looks tuff on the stocko's being that low :thumbsup:

Nice lane mate... loving the ride height. I'd throw on a fairmont grill, either would look sweet but a el with the chrome would look tops, just never been a fan of the NF and NL grills myself. Especially if your throwing on a set of black wheels.. put a black centre in the grill.. ;)
