Carsguide 13/7

Postby Kenaz » July 13th, 2007, 4:18 pm

Hey just wondering if anyone else has seen the pics of the new Orion Falcon in todays Herald Sun Cars guide? :o

I've got to say I reckon it looks pretty bloody good. I particularly like the rear of it. It already makes the B series cars look a bit out-dated in comparison.

What say the rest of you?

Looks sex.

Pity about all the rigmorole about this imported V6 motor? There has to be some truth to it as Ford isn't openly denying it. It's too late in to the Orion design to change motors as well, that stuff would've been decided in 2002, not now when it's due for release in just over a year.

Overall, it looks hot but I hope this V6 thing is a massive lie.

They look mad. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the part beneath the headlights though. The front reminds me of a cross between the new E-Series HSVs and Mondeo. It's all speculation whether these are the real-deal or not anyway.

I don't think the V6 will happen until the model after Orion.

To be honest, im not really sure on it.
It dosnt really look that much of an upgrade from the BA-BF, i suppose they are only cgi's and you wont get the real feel for the car until you see it in the flesh.

I agree and I think that's a good thing. I like both of those cars, particularly the Mondeo :)

The 2008 Ford lineup is looking quite strong at this stage.

not a fan of the bare plastick high lights on the front bar but the back doesnt look to bad even if it reminds me of a subaru liberty.

NOT a fan of the doorhandles!

Undecided on the grey-outs between the headlights & foglights.

Love the rest of the CGIs

The picture of the back reminds me of a VY Clubsport, looks tough though. As for the rest, I don't mind it at all.

+1

Do not ask for sources please.

Oh, I do have a rumour (and a rumour only ;)) though that the F6 will top power outputs for the FPV range.
