stupid idea from to much time

Postby lawler » January 7th, 2010, 3:04 pm

Well this is probably not gonna end up happening but just thought you guys might get a laugh out of the idea

Well a mate of mine crashed his xr6 turbo Ute a few months ago and hes been trying to sell the motor with no luck so now hes started thinking about putting it into something else. the funny thing is hes got a vl with no motor in it sitting next to it.

And I think he has been drinking but he just jumped onto msn and started messaging me asking if I want to help put the xr6 turbo motor into the VL but he wants to keep the tiptronic

Now im not to shore if he will try this or not but I thought I might just throw it out there it could get interesting and if it goes a head ill let you guys know

Will the holden chassis be able to cope with the 4LTR?
Holden drivers will be in shock, I suppose, reliable and powerful and it's not a holden engine, on that note, has anybody tried to put a holden motor like a 3.8V6 in a VL? :P

how so? the are both strait 6 motors. vl/ba. i dont think it would be out by much. custom manifold, pipework ect. height would prob be the main problem. just do it to shut down everybody who says you cant...
