Push button start

hey guys, i want to instal a push button start in my eb sxr8 but unsure which wire to break to instal the switch...if someone has already installed one could you please tell me which coloured wire i should use(i have a feeling its red but cbf with trial an error(lols im not butcher well not yet:P

lols im not going to argue the point but i know its pointless and is only a necessity that i'll problem end up ripping out anyway, but it has to be done!.. i have some old post on it pretty funny how people make excuses for themselves. please guys which colour wire? brown, red, yellow/green

negative.
fuckin bursons gave me the wrong bolts so got to take them back tomorrow and throw them at him.

dont know if its right but its always the red wire in the movies....

going away for couple weeks.
hopefully by time i get back ill have the valve springs.
they will go in asap.
then just finish puttin last few things on and get a tune and its done.
so should be done by mid feb assuming valve springs do come. and can get a tune when i want it.

i have a push start in my silver eb only because the smart lock fukd up but i didnt do it so i dont know where abouts its wired up

do you have a test light?

stick a battery in you car and see which wire has power when you turn the key

ive got push button in my ea but only coz the starter relay was stuffing up when i did the engine transfer...
i did it the easy way tho... went and brought some wire and a button then went wire from battery to button then button to starter motor and when ever i push the button it bridges the connection...
just take your starter motor relay out and do it that way... atleast when you want you can just put the relay back in and its back to how it was in the first place..
