a mate from trade school had a 330rwkw VL Nitro. That thing was insane, so laggy till about 3500rpm then BAM, like a punch in the face, your thrusted to 21psi of boost and a crap load of g-force.
Also a work mates N15 pulsar, 216fwkw out of a 1.6ltr engine in a body that weighs just over a 1000kgs, pretty impressive.
EF XR6: 1673 wade cam, upgraded valve springs, vernier cam gear, ported head, high volume oil pump, CAI, Pacey 4480's, high flow metal cat, cat back exhaust, 2500-3000rpm stally, shift kit, ba sss shifter, Capa eliminator chip, RDA slotted rotors, EBC greenstuff pads. Much more to come.

Sadly enough I think Dan's old EB is the quickest car I've been in.

Closely followed by my BA.

I need to get out more.

Quickest I've been in was a customer's VB or VC Commodore with a blown 383 stroker running around 12psi. He was preparing it for a Street Commodores magazine shoot and took me for a spin. I almost crapped myself.

900HP big block Hemi powered Charger, fricken would do wheel stands when wearing the right tyres. The owner was a friend of one of my brothers school mates, I can remember him backing it out of his garage when it was cold and trying to keep the revs up enough that it didn't stall. Every time he let the pressure off the brake pedal a bit to let it move a bit the back wheels would screech. Absolute monster!

335i ¼mile = 13.7 - Rollin's car easily pulls away from OED666's NA ED which does a 13.8
BMW spent billions of dollars and years developing the 3 series cars and engines - Rollin put his car together in a few months and isn't rich
Rollin's car cost less than a tenth of what your cousin spent
Unless your cousin got $30000-40000 worth of extra's, he/she didn't get a good deal.

I'm not sure I understand your comparison.

I'm sure the BMW is nicer to drive than my car, has better fuel economy, and pulls a metric shitload more chix, and it does look really good....but faster? I think your very much having a lend of yourself there :)
